Renew your financing statements - PPS-06
Renew your financing statements now to keep your priority.
-
You must renew your Financing Statements before they expire to maintain your priority.
When do my financing statements expire?
Unless renewed, a security interest registered on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) will automatically expire at a date and time which is five years after the financing statement was registered (or at an earlier date where a lesser term has been specified in the financing statement). You will need to renew your Financing Statement before it expires to maintain priority.
How can I check when I need to renew?
Use the free Financing Statement List option to help keep track of when your registered Financing Statements are due to expire.
Simply access the PPSR, select Secured Party Tools from the left hand menu then select Financing Statement List. Note: To generate a list you will need the Secured Party Group ID and password.
The Financing Statement List records all financing statements that:
- Are due to expire in a specified date range; and
- Were registered in a specified date range.
Choose to display your list in MS Excel format on screen or send it as a PDF attachment by email.

- User ID and Password – to logon to the website.
- Secured Party Group ID and Password – to identify the Secured Party.
- Financing Statement Registration Number and PIN - to identify the Financing Statement.
To retrieve a lost ID or Password go to the Contact Us section on the PPSR website. Lost access information will be sent to an email address for the secured party which is listed in the Financing Statement.
