How do I search using an aircraft's details?

When conducting a Aircraft Serial Number Search you are required to enter one of the following, or all if they exist:

  • Registration Mark
  • Manufacturer Serial Number.

In each case, the full number must be supplied.  The wild card character * cannot be used for this search.

The PPSR search tool will retrieve securities that match either one of your search criteria.  In this instance, the more search criteria you enter, the wider your search becomes.

Step by step instructions

  1. Log on using your User ID and password.
  2. From the PPSR Search menu, choose Aircraft Vehicle Serial Number Search.
  3. Enter your search criteria.
  4. Click Submit Query to start searching.
  5. ‘Pay Now’ for your search – via Direct Debit or Credit Card.

Notes

Your User ID is a nine-digit number and your password is seven alphanumeric characters and is case sensitive.

When searching, enter only alphanumeric characters e.g. A-Z and 0-9.  If the person registering the financing statement entered non-alphanumeric characters, these will have been removed for searching purposes.

The more criteria you enter, the wider your search becomes.  As a general rule, it is probably better not to narrow your search too much.
