Financing Statement Number
You can search for a specific financing statement by using the Financing Statement Registration Number Search option. This is also the only way to search for discharged or expired financing statements.
When you use any of the following search options, your search results will only include current registered financing statements:
- Debtor Person
- Debtor Organisation
- Motor Vehicle Serial Number or
- Aircraft Serial Number Search.
Once a financing statement has been discharged or has expired, you can only search for it using the Financing Statement Number Search where you must enter the Financing Statement Registration Number.
Step by step instructions
- Log on using your User ID and password.
- From the PPSR Search menu, choose Financing Statement Registration Number Search.
- Enter one or more numbers, separated by a comma or a space.
- Click Submit Query to start searching.
- ‘Pay Now’ for your search – via Direct Debit or Credit Card.
Notes
Your User ID is a nine-digit number and your password is seven alpha-numeric characters and is case sensitive.
Searching by financing statement registration number is an important type of search because it is the only way to locate information about discharged or expired financing statements.
